About the hosts
Kyle is co-founder of New Minimalism, a home decluttering service based in San Francisco, CA. She gets excited about creating beautiful and functional spaces by-way of removing the excess. Environmentally focused, all viable goods from her sessions are donated to organizations in need. Kyle co-wrote, New Minimalism, Decluttering and Design for Sustainable, Intentional Living a new book which has been featured on Oprah.com, S.F. Chronicle, Sunset Magazine, and The Huffington Post.
Shira is the founder of Shira Gill Home, a lifestyle brand focused on clutter-free living, that merges minimalism, organization, and style. She is passionate about helping busy moms reclaim their style and learn how to live a "well-edited life" filled with fewer, better things. Her work has been featured as a reader and site fave on Apartment Therapy House Tours, and she is also a contributor to Parents Magazine, My Domaine and other national publications.

The workshop will be held with Kyle Quilici, co-author of book New Minimalism, Decluttering and Design for Intentional, Sustainable Living, as she guides you through a journaling exercise to understand how you relate to your things, how to overcome your personal roadblocks with decluttering, and the tools to maintain a simplified lifestyle. The aim is to take control over your stuff, rather than have your stuff control you. Bring a journal and get ready to dive in! It's highly recommended to read the book before attending the workshop.
